Carrot Salad

Naturally sweet, delicious and crunchy, carrots are healthy additions you can make to the vegetable list in your diet. Indeed, these root vegetables come with wholesome health benefiting compounds such as beta-carotene, vitamin A, minerals and anti-oxidants in ample amounts.
This nutritious carrot salad is as chic as it is classic.This recipe is refreshing and easy with very less ingredients.
So let's start to prepare a healthy carrot salad.



Ingredients:
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 tablespoons olive oil
2- 4 carrots, peeled and shredded
salt to taste
2 green chillies
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley 
1 teaspoon sugar

Method:
  1. In a small bowl mix the lemon juice, shredded carrots, salt and sugar together.
  2. Heat the oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. When the seeds crackle add green chillies.
  3. Pour this oil dressing into shredded carrots.
  4. Add fresh parsley and mix well.
Your healthy carrot salad is ready to serve.
